If you are looking for a subject to inspire you then here is one that you can do virtually anywhere. Lines are all over the place, from wood grain or spider’s web in the micro scale to the horizon on the grand scale. When I started to look through my pictures I found masses, most taken because I liked the design that the lines made.

There is something that is common to most of the pictures however, the lines draw your eye towards something. The most obvious is where the lines converge at a vanishing point as this gives a picture depth and a very graphic feel.
