Tokina CINEMA ATX 50 135mm T3 EF (1)

The new Tokina CINEMA 50-135mm T3.0 (f/2.8 equivalent) cine lens is a manual zoom lens designed for video use, covering a Super 35 sensor size (1.6x crop), and is available in PL and Canon EF mount. The lens has mechanical rings to adjust aperture (T-stops), zoom and focus, and is said to be parfocal for reduced breathing when using the zoom. the 50-135mm T3.0 lens is priced at £4499.

The lens feels extremely well built and due to it's size and construction it is a heavy lens weighing 1.53kg. There are clear markings on the side of the lens, and you can add additional screw in levers if required to help when using the lens with video equipment. The aperture ring is clickless, making it possible to silently change the aperture while recording. More details can be found here.
