The best camera for you isn't always going to be the one that costs the most money or has the biggest lens. Everyone's different and as a result, want different things from their kit. A pro, for example, won't want the same point-and-shoot a mum of three is considering purchasing for her holiday. For this reason, what cameras are currently the most popular really do sit on quite a wide spectrum and some models aren't as new as you may have first thought they'd be either. 

To put our list together, we looked at data from various online camera retailers as well as our own review section to see what you guys are most interested in and looking at right now.
