If you're looking for macro inspiration have a look at these close-ups taken on Tamron lenses.
| Close-UpVarious macro lenses are available but two popular choices from Tamron are the legendary 90mm macro and AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2 lens. Take a look at the review section on Totally Tamron to see how these and other Tamron lenses perform.
When shooting macro work, consider using a tripod to minimise shake and your camera's self-timer or a remote release are useful tools as they stop you having to touch the camera once you're set up and ready to take the shot. Reflectors are useful for bouncing light into fungi shots and a polarising filter will ensure the colours captured are the same, if not better than the real thing.
