A 360-degree camera lets you see up, down, left and right so coming up with creative photography ideas is a whole new ball game.

360º photography is great if you want to be able to use the video for VR or change the viewing direction when watching but you do have to think a little bit differently when capturing your footage to get the most out of your camera.
To help you do this, our friends COOPH have put a great tutorial together exploring this method of photography and they also share some creative shooting suggestions so you can capture interesting 360-degree footage from the get-go.
The COOPH team have been playing around with the Insta 360 One X camera but as our 'Best Action and 360 VR Camera' top list shows, there's plenty of choices out there. This includes the Ricoh Theta V, Nikon KeyMission 360 and Kodak PIXPRO SP360-4K.
Dropping items from height, following movement and giving a point of view in a sporting event are a few of the topics the COOPH team explore which you can learn more about by hitting the 'play' button on the video above.
