Toshiba has a new line-up of SD memory cards that allow the recording of both 4K and 8K video and supporting continuous shooting.
The UHS-II EXCERIA PRO SD cards provide a minimum data transfer speed of 90MB/s, a maximum read speed of 270 MB/s and a maximum write speed of 260 MB/s - an equivalent of Video Speed Class 90; UHS Speed Class 3 or SD Speed Class 10.
Available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB options, the N502 EXCERIA PRO can hold up to 2,540 RAW photos or 220 minutes of 4K video at 30 fps. Under internal testing, the N502 was able to transfer 1,000 1.5 MB images to a PC in 26.38 seconds and write RAW image files from a full buffer to the SD card in 8.6 seconds.
The new N502 SD card is X-ray proof, has an operating temperature range of -25˚C to +85˚C and comes with a five-year warranty.
