TouchRetouch iPhone App Performance
You can edit a photo from your iPhone or take a new one with the apps built-in camera. When loaded you simply need to select the item using the Brush or Lasso tool to draw the area on the screen and press the start button. The app will then go to work to remove the item. Below are a range of examples. Performance is good if you are selecting an item on a clear background, such as the cue ball on the pool table. But, as in example 5, if the background isn't very consistent the image looks a bit warped.
After 1 - white ball removed
After 2 - photographer shadow in bottom left corner removed
After 3 - balls and wood removed
After 4 - swans and ducks removed
After 5 - toy sheep removed
TouchRetouch iPhone App Verdict
If you are looking to make quick small fixes to your image the app performs pretty well, but the more complicated the background is, the more the app struggles to fill in the gap. With the clone stamp tool you can make further refinements to your image but it is quite tricky on the small iPhone screen.
TouchRetouch iPhone App Pros
Quick and easy to use
TouchRetouch iPhone App Cons
Not great when removing objects with complex backgrounds
