Tranquil English Countryside Sunset Wins Photo of the Week

A tranquil landscape, captured in Dartmouth at sunset, has been crowned ePHOTOzine's Photo of the Week. 

The image, titled 'Aspire', features the Daymark tower standing tall in a farmer's field, surrounded by a sky bursting with calm, sunset shades. The photograph was captured by PictureDevon and here's why the ePHOTOzine team chose it as our Photo of the Week:

"This image has, what we like to describe as, the perfect ingredients needed to create an eye-catching landscape. This checklist begins with the beautiful sky that just has enough subtle colour and cloud detail to not only create interest but it also allows a sense of calm to fall on the rest of the scene. Next, we have the farmer's field with the sweeping tractor lines that guide the eye through the image and even the slight movement in the crop draws the eye to the main point of focus - the Daymark, our final piece of the perfect landscape photo checklist.

All-in-all it's a beautiful capture of the gorgeous English countryside that's well worthy of winning the Photo of the Week title."
