Transcontinenta Opens Offices In UK Distributing Familiar Brands Such As Tamron

Transcontinenta may be a new name in the photographic industry but the brands they represent are well known among photographers.

Transcontinenta has announced it is opening offices in the UK where the company will be distributing well-known photographic brands such as Tamron, Cullmann, Boya, Angelbird and Hyper.

"Although we are new to the UK, Transcontinenta is part of an established international trading group originally founded in The Netherlands in 1956," says Transcontinenta. "In 2014 offices in Belgium and Luxembourg opened, followed in 2018 by the purchase of the 'Cullmann' brand of tripods and bags in Germany, and finally this year Transcontinenta expanded into the UK and Ireland with premises in Berkshire."

Among the products Transcontinenta will be distributing are:

  • Cullman tripods, bags and flashguns
  • Boya microphones for smartphones, tablets, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and camcorders
  • Angelbird high-end SSD storage solutions
  • Hyper USB Hubs
  • Tamron lenses (from 1 December 2019)
