A well-composed macro image of a tree frog has been awarded the POTW accolade this week.
| ePHOTOzineA well-timed image of a tree frog and water droplets has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.
The image, titled 'Rain Forest Revisited' by Miles Herbert has been chosen by the team here at ePHOTOzine to win the accolade, and here's why we thought it stood out from the bunch:
This is a really nicely composed image and the artistic drops to the left of the frog really take the photo to the next level. Rule of thirds works well to lead your eye to the frog, which is facing towards the droplets.
The image has been taken at just the right split second to capture the 3 droplets, creating an abstract and artistic element to the image. The limited colour palette of green, brown and yellow shades works well to give the image a tropical feel.
Winners of the Photo of the Week accolade currently get their hands on a 32GB MicroSDHC card from Samsung. Check out the POTW gallery to see all the images that have been awarded the accolade.
