Triggertrap is to launch Redsnap, an expandable camera trigger that makes high speed, camera trap and timelapse photography affordable for everyone.
The Triggertrap Redsnap is a fast and easy to use unit that uses interchangable sensor modules that can be snapped on when you need them, and stored away when you don't.
The unit has three outputs, allowing you to connect three cameras, flashes, or a combination of both. It is powered by 2 AA batteries and Triggertrap say it will keep your timelapse running for months.
There are four sensors, high speed light, passive infrared, sound, and high speed laser, which can be combined for triggering from multiple sources, or they can be used seperately for specific projects.
The laser sensor is reportedly capable of capturing a bullet in flight, whilst the sound sensor is ideal for capturing popping balloons.
Triggertrap has allready raised over its fundraising goal of £50,000 with 30 days still to go. The device is set to be available next year. For more information, take a look at the Triggertrap Kickstarter page
