Two More Mid-Range Smartphones From LG With Flagship Specs

Following the launch of the LG G7 ThinQ in May, LG has now introduced the LG G7 One and LG G7 Fit mid-range smartphones. 

The LG G7 One sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has the same all-glass design aesthetic of the LG G7 ThinQ with a polished metal rim that is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

As for the cameras, you get a 16MP, f/1.6 rear lens and an 8MP, f/1.9 front-facing camera. Image captured with the LG G7 One can be viewed on the 6.1-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) Super Bright Display sporting a 19.5:9 FullVision screen ratio and thin bottom bezel.

The LG G7 One runs Android 8.1 Oreo and the phone automatically optimises background activity for the most important operations to maximise battery life. Users can access the Google Assistant by tapping the dedicated button on the side of the phone and the phone will also receive regular security updates with built-in Google Play Protect. Also available on the LG G7 One is Google Lens.

AI CAM, first introduced in the LG V30S, will be added with an update later this year.

The LG G7 Fit will offer excellent value but give a similar performance to that you expect from a Flagship model, LG says. 

Featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, the LG G7 Fit comes with a 6.1-inch LCD FullVision display with QHD+ (3120 x 1440) resolution powered by LG's exclusive Super Bright Display LCD.

Like the LG G7 ThinQ, the LG G7 Fit features AI CAM, 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound. AI CAM lets users choose from eight shooting categories – person, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise and sunset – along with three effects options.

The camera capturing the shots is a 16MP, f/2.2 while on the front you'll find an 8MP f/1.9 camera.
