Two photographers take on an ugly photo location challenge to prove that with a little creativity, any location can be the perfect backdrop for portraits.

NEWS FLASH: You don't need a beautiful location to shoot amazing photographs! Yes, it can be harder to find something extraordinary in ordinary but it's not impossible. All you need is a little creativity.
Photographer Jessica Kobeissi, who has a pretty cool YoutTube channel, has teamed up with Mango Street (they also create awesome photography tutorials) to prove just how true this statement is with a portrait shoot on the streets of Stockholm. Basically, the girls want to show you how you can take an ugly location and make it look awesome in images with the use of angles, zoom, lighting and interesting poses created by your subject.
Personally, I don't think the locations the girls choose are that ugly but they do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. No matter if you think the locations are truly 'ugly' or not, both photographers do a cracking job of making a quite plain and ordinary location work for a portrait shoot. It also helps that their model knows how to 'work' the camera (you can get some pretty good posing tips from models, actually).
Anyway, the point these guys, and we, are trying to make is that you can capture a good photo almost anywhere. You just a good imagination and a spark of creativity to get you started.
