A trash the dress photo shoot is nothing new but how many do you know have taken place under water? Photographers Adam and Shawn-Marie Ravazzano have and we spoke to them to find out more.

Maui portrait photographers Adam and Shawn-Marie Ravazzano have, for a long time, wanted to shoot an underwater themed trash the dress shoot and recently, they were given an opportunity to bring the idea they've been dreaming of since moving to Maui alive.
As weather and ocean conditions change from day-to-day, the window for the shoot was very limited. The duo needed bright blue skies above the ocean for the shoot to be a success and as the weeks leading up to the shoot were constantly clouded in grey, Adam and Shawn-Marie were keeping everything crossed for a weather change.
The morning of the shoot arrived and in stark contrast to the weeks before the shoot, the sky was a beautiful blue and not even a light breeze was blowing through the air.
Models Maika and Lei were picked up from the airport at 6am and they all headed for the harbour with 2 wedding gowns designer Joelle Perry agreed to let the photography duo use.
"Adam and I spent a few hours shooting underwater with our models and have everyone involved to thank for the success of this shoot that came to life in every possible way, and kept the inspiration within us as Love and Water Photography burning strong," said Shawn-Marie.
