Called Hip 2B Square, the images that will be on display at the exhibition vary massively from local images to images taken as far afield as Zurich.
InstaChimps was founded off the back of another local SLR group called ShutterChimps.
Miles Winterburn, founder of the group, said: "It is becoming really popular shooting with smartphones and we wanted to have an exhibition off the back of that. This exhibition is really exciting for us, being the first one we have pulled together since the group started earlier this year.
There are some challenges with shooting on a phone, some of the cameras aren't that good and you struggle to get depth of field but there are some great apps out there to deal with that."
The exhibition is free, and is open 9am until 7pm on weekdays and between 9am and 4pm on a Saturday. It is on until Saturday 15 September 2012.
