Photographer Corinna Gissemann uses a Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 lens to photograph her two great loves in life - natural light and food.
Corinna says the Tamron SP 90mm is a real all-rounder lens, ideal for a variety of different shooting styles including macro and shots that include more of the scene. With a few tools commonly found around the house, you can create some truly extraordinary food photos using natural light.
"A North-facing window is practical, as the same conditions almost always prevail here. However, a South-facing window with incoming sunlight can also be attractive." explains Corinna.
Corrina also says that you should experiment with the direction and intensity of the light for each different subject.
Over on the Tamron blog, Corinna goes into detail on shooting rustic looking food images as well as light and airy ones using diffusers and other simple accessories. She loves the Tamron SP 90mm lens as it allowed her to shoot sharp photos hand-held at slower shutter speeds.
