Vanguard have introduced two new VEO 2GO Travel Tripods which extend to 166cm and can take 10kg of kit.
| Tripods, Monopods and Other SupportsVanguard have announced two new models for the VEO 2GO collection of tripods, originally launched at The Photography Show 2019.
The new tripods are a carbon fibre and aluminium version of the same design - the VEO 2GO 265. They feature a new Arca Swiss compatible ball head, the BH-102, which gives the tripods their ability to hold 10kg of kit. This makes the new models suitable for pro-level mirrorless or DSLR kits.
The monopod leg on the new models has also been improved to make it quicker to set up - using the central column and the leg to creater a monopod that folds down to 48cm but extends to 170cm.
Both of the new models extend to 166cm tall, making them ideal for taller photographers, and include a separate pan lock, a choice of rubber and spiked feet, and a reversible central column for macro/low angle shots.
The two new models fold down to 41cm, with the aluminium model weighing 1660g and the carbon fibre model weighing 1415g.
