Vanguard have announced the VEO 2x 4-in-1 travel tripods range, which can switch from tripod to monopod and ball head to pan head.
| Tripods, Monopods and Other SupportsVanguard has launched the VEO 2x travel tripod series, which is capable of switching from a tripod to a monopod in seconds and can also transform from ball head to pan head making it suitable for stills or video shooting with mirrorless and DSLR camera bodies.
Available in 20mm, 23mm or 26mm leg diameters, and in aluminium or carbon fibre, the VEO 2X weighs as little as 1140g (or 2.5lbs) and folding down as small as 400mm (or 16 inches), the VEO 2X, is a very portable option.
Despite this portability, the VEO 2X doesn’t compromise on performance. These travel tripods can manage a load of up to a 12kg (or 26.4lbs), making them ideal for any photographer.
VEO 2x Travel Tripod key Features:
- Arca Swiss ball head that converts to a pan head, offering the option for stills or video with a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
- Vanguard’s patented Rotating Central Column that allows the tripod to be deployed fast, minimising the chances of missing that fleeting shot.
- Easy set twist locks making setup fast and simple, but also enabling the twist locks to be easy-clean, giving the photographer the confidence to use wherever they choose.
- Three easy set leg angles (20°, 50°, 80°) for maximum stability in any position.
- A reversible central column, or Low Angle Adaptor that, combined with the 80° leg angle setting, enables low angle or macro photography.
- A choice of rubber or spiked feet for maximum stability on any terrain.
- A tripod leg that can be removed and attached to the central column to create a monopod (or vlogging stick) in seconds and that extends up to 1575mm (or 62 inches).
