Vanguard expands its popular Alta Sky backpack collection with the introduction of the Alta Sky 66 which improves on space for kit inside and out.

Vanguard has added the Alta Sky 68 backpack to its popular range of Alta Sky camera bags which Vanguard describes as the 'ultimate gear-carrying and working backpack'.
The Alta Sky 68 improves on the previously released Alta Sky 66 which is designed to carry a super-telephoto lens up to 600mm f/4.0, (and some 800mm f/5.6), attached to a Pro DSLR or Full-Frame Mirrorless body by providing more room for kit. With the Alta Sky 68, there's room for a super-telephoto lens up to an 800mm f/5.6, attached to a Pro DSLR or full-frame Mirrorless body, along with up to 7 additional lenses (or personal kit). The super-telephoto lens can be accessed from the top and additional lenses at the rear of the backpack from a lower access panel.
The Alta Sky 68 can also carry up to two full-sized tripods, with an accessories pocket on the side as well as a 16" laptop and an 11" tablet.
Designed to be tough, the Alta Sky includes rip-stop and water-resistant material, with a rain cover for wetter days, and padding to protect your camera kit. Plus, the Alta Sky harness system is featured which gives the backpack:
- A well-padded, 3D back panel, with extra padding against the shoulder blades and the lower back which can be customised to the height of the individual via three settings.
- Contoured well-padded shoulder straps that feature both sternum straps and shoulder cinch straps.
- An extra-wide and padded waist belt ensures the load is well spread across the lower body.
The Alta Sky 68 will be available on the Vanguard website priced at £259.99.
