Vazen has announced the pricing and shipping availability for their latest Micro Four Thirds lens, the 28mm T/2.2 1.8x Anamorphic.

Vazen claim that the lens is the world's lightest 1.8x Anamorphic lens. The front anamorphic design creates a buttery smooth oval bokeh coupled with a blue but not over saturated flare and the widescreen cinematic look. 

Vazen chose to adopt a much more complicated 1.8x squeeze design instead of the 1.33x as it creates a much more cinematic look. The 1.8x also produces a cinematic widescreen 2.39:1 aspect ratio to your image when capturing footage with 4:3 ratio sensors like the Panasonic Lumix GH5 and Z-cam E2.

The 28mm lens is the widest option in their 1.8x anamorphic lineup - there's a 40mm lens already available, with a 65mm option expected to be available in the next few months. 

The lens is currently available to order from authorized resellers and on the Vazen website. It is available to ship immediately. The retail price in US is USD 3,250/pc.
