Venus Laowa 12mm f/1.8 Micro Four Thirds
We spent some time looking at Laowa's new Micro Four Thirds lenses, at Photokina 2018, in Cologne, Germany. What's impressive about these Micro Four Thirds lenses, is how small, compact, and lightweight they are.
The 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens is almost too small, with a very thin focusing ring, luckily they realised this, and added a knob to the ring, so that it is easier to focus. You still have to be careful when using this lens, as you need to be careful not to end up in the shot due to how much the lens captures in the shot. See more pictures of this lens below. Keep scrolling for pictures of the 12mm f/1.8 (24mm equivalent), and the 17mm f/1.8 (34mm equivalent).

As a MFT user, I am less interested in the 12 and 17mm lenses – Olympus have had similar lenses for years – than in the new MFT version of the existing 9mm lens, which you don’t mention. (It was included in their press release of Sept 21 which you published).
We reviewed the 9mm lens, with the E-mount here:
