The VEO 3GO 235CB Carbon Fibre Travel Tripod is the latest tripod to join Vanguard's popular VEO range and this one, as the name suggests, is designed with travel in mind. With its innovative, lightweight and compact design, it looks like it could be the perfect travel photography companion and for £179.99, it certainly makes it stand out from some of of the other travel tripods currently available. Let's take a closer look at its features and, more importantly, how it performs when put to work outside.

VEO 3GO 235CB Carbon Fibre Travel Tripod Features

1/80 sec | f/2.8 | 17.0 mm | ISO 200

The VEO 3GO 235CB Carbon Fibre Travel Tripod is a modern-looking support with its carbon fibre finish and technology-based accessories that make it perfect for smartphone photography as well as more traditional DSLR or Mirrorless Cameras

As it's made from carbon fibre, it won't feel as cold as tripods made from steel, for example, but there is a rubber grip for added comfort on really cold days.

Along with the tripod you get an Arca Swiss compatible ball head, a leg that converts to a monopod (which can double as a selfie/vlogging stick), a smartphone adaptor and a Bluetooth remote shutter trigger.

Leg locks twist and spiked as well as rubber feet are supplied so you can set-up the tripod on multiple terrains. When you want to shoot low/angle or macro photos, the centre column is reversible or you can use the Low Angle Adaptor. For extra stability, there's a retractable hook so you can add weight and you get a tripod bag to keep the tripod and accessories safe in.
