What can you do with a 200X zoom? Reading words on planes flying overhead is one rather cool thing.
| Coolpix P900 in General Photography
A Korean YouTuber named MichealHrd who's shared a video that shows how powerful a 200x camera zoom can be is proving to be popular with web users.
The short video shows footage, apparently captured with a 200x camera zoom, of someone zooming right in so close to a plane flying overhead that you can read the name of the airline on the side of it. It's not the first superzoom video published on YouTube but it's pretty cool so we thought we'd share it.
No details of the zoom / camera have been shared but it's not the first superzoom to grab our attention as the Nikon Coolpix P900 we reviewed last year has an 83x optical zoom lens, equivalent to 24-2000mm, which we were able to capture images of the moon with as well as photos of last year's solar eclipse. We also have a top 10 which lists the best pocket zooms currently available and a round-up of top superzoom lenses that will give you plenty of reach. More recently, we reviewed the Panasonic Lumix TZ80 which features an impressive 30x optical zoom in its rather compact body.
