Cosina Voigtlander has announced the new Nokton 60mm f/0.95 lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras, due to be available in April.
| Voigtlander Nokton 60mm f/0.95 in Interchangeable LensesCosina, parent company of Voigtlander, has announced the new Voigtlander Nokton 60mm f/0.95 lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras, with a bright maximum aperture of f/0.95, and manual focus, the lens is designed to give soft bokeh and background blur. The closest focus distance is 34cm, with a magnification of 1:4 (35mm equivalent 1:2). You can view a range of sample photos on Cosina's website.
The expected price for the new lens is 145,000 JPY (excluding tax), which is roughly £1000 GBP (at current exchange rates). The release date is scheduled for April 2020.
