Vote For Your Favourite Image Taken On A Mobile Phone

The public can now vote for the image they think should be crowned the Mobile Phone Award winner at 2015 Sony World Photography Awards.

From today, the public can vote for the shot they think deserves to win the title of 'Mobile Phone Award winner' at 2015 Sony World Photography Awards.

The public can choose to give a 'thumbs-up' to one of the 20 shortlisted entries featured on the World Photo website and the image with the most 'thumbs-up' will be named the winner at this year's 2015 Sony World Photography Awards gala ceremony in London on Thursday 23 April. 

This new competition category received over 10,000 entries from across the globe but only 20 photographers could make the final shortlist and they are: 

  • Craig Atkinson, UK
  • Salvatore Calafato, Italy
  • Monica Coteriano, Portugal
  • Emanuel Faria, Portugal
  • Henny Gylfa, Iceland
  • Weronika Ka┼║mierczak, Poland
  • Olga Nazarova, Russia
  • Luca Laghetti, Italy
  • Hamed Nazari, Iran (shortlisted for two images)
  • Nuno Perestrelo, Portugal
  • Atle Rønningen, Norway
  • Ako Salemi, Iran
  • Janos Schmidt, Hungary (shortlisted for two images)
  • Gerard Trang, France
  • Mijail Vallejo, Ecuador (shortlisted for two images)
  • Carla Vermeend, Netherlands
  • Helen Whelton, UK

The overall Mobile Phone Award winner will receive a trip to London to attend the Sony World Photography Awards gala ceremony, they will be included in the 2015 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House and they'll also be sent a Sony Mobile product bundle. 

Voting for this category closes on 17 March 2015.
