Scattered Stones

'Scattered Stones' by Mike Smith (Coloured_Images)

A lake dotted with stones that are surrounded by towering mountains is the subject of our picture-perfect 'Photo of the Week' (POTW).

Captured on the banks of Wastwater in the Lake District, 'Scattered Stones' by Mike Smith (Coloured_Images) has all of the details a shot needs to be a brilliant example of landscape photography; including, lovely reflections, an interesting sky and foreground detail that pulls the eye through to the back of the image. The tones and colours are lovely, too, adding a level of warmth to the photo.

Mike, like all other POTW winners, will receive a Samsung EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter, courtesy of Samsung. To see all of our other POTW winners, visit the POTW Gallery.
