iON Camera has today introduced 2 new wearable cameras that are as light as an AA battery and only 1.5 inches square.

The SnapCam and SnapCam Lite feature an 8Mp camera and have built-in live streaming capabilities. The stand-by battery life lasts 7 days and the camera is attached to clothing via a built-in clip and magnet. Up to 5,000 images can be captured in time-lapse mode or 2 hours of video can be recorded. For those interested in the live streaming option, both cameras deliver an hour of live streaming.

An iON app is available which can be used to set sharing functionalities so images are instantly posted to Facebook, Instagram and other social channels, plus photos can also be stored in the cloud.

The SnapCam is available in titanium, silver and white for £129.99 while the Lite version, which doesn't have Wi-Fi capabilities, is priced at £49.99 and comes in fire engine red and icy blue.
