CIAAT CTP-3010 DYE SUBLIMATION PRINTER - £940.00 excl. vat
CIAAT has recently seen the launch of their new, 3rd generation, CTP-3010 printer. What sets the 3rd generation printers apart from older dye subs is a 4 process colour (YMC +Black) printing option resulting in a significantly higher d-max (2,35) and vastly superior tonal range which has always been a bit of a problem for 1st and 2ndgeneration dye subs.

The 3010 in fact manages 4 process colour printing incredibly well without any real significant reduction in print speed, delivering a 4x6” print in 10 seconds as opposed to mainstream 2nd generation dye subs managing a 4x6” print in around 8 seconds.

Of course the CIAAT printer will also detect when standard 3 process colour media has been loaded and it is then capable of producing a 4x6” print in a blistering fast 7 seconds!
