Barbara Davatz has captured an interesting photo series that shows how couples have changed over 30 years.
| Portraits and PeopleA Swiss photographer has been working on a rather long photo series that's captured couples at various stages of their lives.
Barbara Davatz started her photo project back in 1982 where she picked several couples from Zurich who were either friends related or lovers to capture images of. Each couple was photographed against neutral backdrops so their expressions, body language and clothing remained the focus of the viewer then in 1988, 1997 and 2014, Barbara Davatz continued the portrait series with the same people, some of whom were in new relationships, producing a unique study that also shows how our tastes and most definitely how our fashion sense changes over time.
The images have now been released as a collection titled 'As Time Goes By' which has been published in a book and it's also part of an exhibition (BARBARA DAVATZ - AS TIME GOES BY, 1972 TO 2014) currently running at the Fotostiftung Schweiz from 27 February - 16 May 2016.
