The image, titled 'Lace' by ePz member marksilvester, stood out from the rest this week and here's why we thought it deserved the accolade:

This is a nicely framed image, using the curtain and window to great effect in order to create context and interest. The natural light streaming through the window highlights the face and hair well, whilst also creating contours around the arms and legs. A backlight adds some clarity to the model, who would otherwise be silhouetted.

It's a very delicate photo, in terms of colours and shapes, and this is reinforced by the lace kimono and ballet-slippered tiptoe stance. It's a simple yet effective image, portraying the beauty of the model well.
