Xiaomi Mi8 Flagship Smartphone With 12MP Dual Lenses & 20MP Selfie Camera

You might not have heard of Xiaomi but they make quite a lot of smart tech, including a drone, and joining their line-up of products today is a new flagship smartphone known simply as the Mi 8. 

The Mi 8 features a 12MP dual lens combo on the back which has recorded an impressive 105 DxOMark score and a front-facing 20MP camera. The screen measures 6.21-inch and for the first time, a Xiaomi smartphone features a notch that houses the selfie camera. The Mi8's frame is constructed from aluminium but it does feature a glass back panel and it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. 

Taking a cue from Apple, Xiaomi has also released the Mi 8 SE which is smaller in size and also easier on the wallet. 

As with all of Xiaomi's smartphones, the Mi 8 will be launched in China first and as of yet, there's no pricing or launch date info available for the rest of the world. However, Three has confirmed they will be bringing the Chinese smartphone brand to the UK.
