Yongnuo has released more information on the YN450 mirrorless smartphone camera which is running Android 7.1.
| Mirrorless CamerasYONGNUO has released more details of their new YN450 mirrorless smartphone camera, along with additional images, on Weibo. Shown on the camera is the YONGNUO 14mm f/2.8 Canon EF mount lens, so we are expecting a Canon EF lens mount.
It's been a long time since anyone has released an Android powered mirrorless camera, with Samsung releasing the ill-fated Samsung Galaxy NX in 2013, and Polaroid almost releasing the iM1836 in 2013.
The YONGNUO camera, code name YN450, runs Android 7.1, features a 5inch 1080p touch-screen, however sensor details have not been shared. What we do know is that the camera records 4K 30fps video, has raw support, stereo microphones, a headphone socket, a MicroSD card slot, and 3GB/32GB built-in. There's support for 3G/4G, GPS and Wi-Fi, and there is a 4000mAh battery built-in. There's also an 8mp "selfie" camera built-in, which you can see next to the screen.
YONGNUO are running a competition to name the new camera.
