The Galaxy Fold will be available in the UK from Friday 3 May for £1800 and those interested, can pre-register now to be in with a chance of getting a device from 26 April onward.

Those wanting to find out what the Galaxy Fold smartphone is like won't have to wait much longer as the smartphone will be available from 3 May 2019 with an RRP of £1800.
Pre-orders for Galaxy Fold will go live via Samsung and EE from Friday 26 April 2019 ahead of the retail launch on Friday 3 May 2019. The device will be available in Space Silver or Cosmos Black via Samsung Online Shop, Samsung Experience Stores and EE. Martian Green and Astro Blue are also available via Samsung Online Shop only, customers purchasing these variants can also select a made-to-order custom colour combination, choosing either a Dark Silver or Gold hinge.
The Galaxy Fold features a 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex Display, which folds into a compact device when closed, fully protected with a Gorilla Glass 6 finish.
Other folding smartphones announced, or released as concepts, this year include the ZTE clamsehell design, Huawei Mate X and the OPPO folding smartphone.
