ZEISS has launched a new lens for full-frame DSLRs that features a new optical design and is the 10th lens to be added to the Milvus family.

The ZEISS Milvus 1.4/35 is a manual focus lens that ZEISS says excels at landscapes and portraiture: "The high maximum aperture enables the subject to stand out clearly against the background, and the photographer can achieve creative combinations of focus and blur," says Christophe Casenave, Product Manager at ZEISS.

Dust and water aren't a problem as the metal barrel is dust and water resistant plus, Casenave say it can also be used in poor weather conditions.

The ZEISS Milvus 1.4/35 will be available from specialist dealers and in the ZEISS Online Shop from July 2017. The recommended retail price is £1,699 inc. VAT.
