Nikon Z Series Camera owners can now use the 3 Legged Thing L-Bracket when taking photos.
| Nikon Z7 in Tripods, Monopods and Other Supports3 Legged Thing has introduced a version of its popular L-Bracket specifically for the Nikon Z6 and Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The Zelda, as it's known, is milled from a single block of aircraft-grade magnesium alloy and fits both Z-series cameras without blocking access to the battery door, memory card slot, and side ports.
The Arca-Swiss compatible L-Bracket has been shaped with indents to allow users to easily access and tilt the camera’s rear screen and provide easy access to the lens release button on the front of the unit. Plus, as with all 3 Legged Thing’s QR11 Universal L-Brackets, Zelda features a single quarter-inch-20 thread on the vertical aspect to allow for the attachment of accessories like a sling-strap or microphone.
The bracket attaches to the camera using a quarter-inch-20 stainless steel Stagsden bolt and includes a locator pin which fits directly into the base of the camera.
Zelda has security screws on its horizontal and vertical aspects for extra security when mounted on a tripod and the base of Zelda also includes a further quarter-inch-20 screw thread to allow it to be directly connected to any mount of that size.
The Zelda L-Bracket is expected to be released in early February 2019, with a suggested retail price of £89.99.
