Zoner Photo Studio X Update Brings Personalisation To A New Level

A new version of Zoner Photo Studio X is now available with a real focus on giving photographers the ability to customise Zoner Photo Studio X according to their needs. Plus, there are speed improvements, a redesigned browser, updated video editing and new features added to the Manager module. 

While some people like a clean user interface with very little information present, others like having metadata and other details in view and now, Zoner Photo Studio X offers this to its users.

With the spring update, you can now control how thumbnails appear in the Manager module and filmstrip so less/more information is listed below each preview and you can also control what metadata you want to see. If there's a specific way you want to sort the previews you can organise by name, date etc. and also group images together. Rating photos have got faster, too, with a single click now applying ratings and labels. 

When previewing images, you get to choose what details are on display, how they are formatted and the colour of the background your image is presented on. The customisation options are pretty lengthy so well worth exploring if you download a free trial of the software.

From the preview area, you can press F3 and access the image browser where you can view your images in a cleaner, clutter-free environment either as solo shots or as slideshows. 

Other new features include a separate video module for editing footage, faster workflow thanks to quicker preview loading, more adjustments for photos taken with fisheye lenses and the old 'Create' module is now known as 'Print'. For those in North America, there's a new data center so Zonerama online galleries load faster.

Zoner Photo Studio X is available now priced at $4.99 per month or $49 annually.  There's also a one-month free trial available and currently, ePHOTOzine members can save 25% when purchasing the software.
