Creative Photography: 52 More Weekend Projects is designed to keep you busy for a year with creative photography ideas that everyone who has a passion for photography can have a go at.

Creative Photography gives you the ideas for the images, and then talks you through how to achieve them step by step, whether it be focus stacking to create a brilliant perfectly clear image or learning the secret of levitation, the book shows you how to do it all.

There is a nice mix of physical techniques, those that use physical things to achieve effects and those that use Photoshop to create the images, so that you can be kept busy even on a rainy weekend.

The book is split into 5 sections, shooting, equipment, movies, lighting and processing, so that you can choose a section and then pick out a creative technique that takes your fancy.

Author Chris Gatcum is very good at taking sought after techniques and making them easy to learn, for the keen photographer to have a go at. From innovative uses for household objects to create equipment, or showing you how to capture moon rise, this book holds your attention and is a joy to look through and choose a project that you can try, most of the time quite easily, in your own time.

From silhouette photography to using a light box to create curious effects, there are loads of great ideas in this book.
