Probably the most comprehensive and informative book on Magnum yet. This 568 page brick, edited by Brigitte Lardinois, delivers a mini portfolio of each of 69 Magnum photographers. If anyone should know the insides of the business it's Brigitte who spent 10 years as Special Projects and Cultrual Director at Magnum Photos in London. She's gathered together personal choices of each photographer into a collection of over 400 photos to deliver a snapshot of the 60 years the photography and photographers of the Magnum "family".

We are treated to a feast of world famous photos mixed in with some not so well know images including work by all the well known "celebrities such as Henri Cartier Bresson and Martin Parr to the lesser known but equally talented members. Along side each portfolio is a biography of each featured photographer and quotes from other photographers. There's also a compete history of Magnum with an insight into how you could become a member, answering several questions that you may have.
