Good shots, but v2 is quite amazing. That deserves to be up front. I can see you working this one into something magical.
I would suggest a crop at the top to eliminate the upper windows.

Now brace yourself and sit down in case you reel from shock at what I am about to say, but I think V1 might make a really good BLACK & WHITE shot! V2 might be worth a try too as there are strong shapes there.

Regardless of my mono-tone-ous suggestion, these are well observed and captured (sorry, couldn't resist)!

Two excellent compositions, V2 perhaps the more strongly graphic: like a giant claw reaching out to grasp the viewer. I might just be tempted to crop V2 slightly to remove the area of glass dome and next-door's dormer window; but then, tomorrow morning I might just want them back!

I can easily see both as mono contenders. Of course!
