In Memory of the 125,000 aircrew who served in Bomber Command and 55,573 that never returned, Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial is proud to announce the launch of our national photography competition The Spirit of Bomber Command in association with Practical Photography and the support of Adobe, Airfix, Elinchrom, Loxley Colour and Pentax.

Bravery, fortitude, patriotism and comradeship were the cornerstones of Bomber Command. The competition hopes to honour these fine qualities by asking current generations to capture The Spirit of Bomber Command.

"The trustees and I are delighted to be working with Practical Photography and our generous sponsors on this exciting new competition. We know from the contacts we have had that the passion for Bomber Command and all it stood for is extraordinary; and this competition offers the perfect opportunity to spread the word, engage new audiences and present the tenets of the Command in a modern and creative way." Tony Worth, Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire and Chair of the Trustees for Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial.

Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial have put together a truly money-cant-buy collection of prizes, including:
