Up until recently, Iíd known this night blooming cactus only by its Hokkien name: Keng Hwa.
Iíve found out itís an Epiphyllum oxypetalum. Think Iíll stick with Keng Hwa
The first image was taken at 8.28pm. The last image at 11.08pm. Hence the title.
Flower pot on the dining room table, the bloom was lit by the fluorescent light tube up on the wall. The camera was placed on an overturned tissue box. Markings were made on the tissue box around the camera so the camís position could be maintained were it nudged out of place. Then shots taken at intervals with the self-timer.
