If your title is anything to go by, they seem to have adopted very civilised table manners, Annette.
That's quite a gathering queuing up in the snow.......nice to see such a sight in your garden too.

Excellent timing on v1 and both compositions look good to me. The background with the noise/colour/snow is perfect, and the presentation tops it off. Two great images Annette.

V1 is definitely the stronger image, by many miles. It has the softness of snow and flight. It's the antithesis to ID shots, all obsessively pin-sharp feathers and no soul. This really is very beautiful. It's about tiny lives surviving in harsh conditions. Love it.

Annette, this shot is WONDERFUL! I love the pattern of the birds "in the queue" and the motion blur of the one that just took off is perfect. Very nice edge effect as well. And -- I love the title.

Absolutely v1 for me - the bird flying elevates this one. Love it.
I'm adding grain to my images these days Wink, but what are you using for noise removal. There are so many on the marked and I wondered what you have and how you like it.
