Driving Into Cromer

By MattB1987
Well the rain has been pretty persistant but this weekend saw patches of dryness in my area so I braved it and went to try and get some photos. I had just bought a new 6 stop ND filter and wanted to test it out, so I popped along to Cromer for some seaside snaps.

After nearly getting very wet ankles I managed to get some shots which I was happy with. When I got back i really liked this photo but I felt during processing that it needed to be mono to give the biggest punch.

I was quite pleased with outcome and came out nicely as a print. Well I shall leave it in your capable hand again and I hope you enjoy. As usual all comments and critiques are very much appreciated.

Cheers
Matt

Superb shot; I like the idea that this is a "seaside snap". The ND filter has done the trick nicely. Great sky, comp and everything in fact. B/w excellent choice.

excellent processing and that wall is simply magic. Personally I prefer the sea lo be less misty and more realistic but that is a matter of taste, I love this mono a lot.
Strong image... Like the b& w tones, and menacing clouds.. Good work
