I was set a brief at college to photograph a cooking utensil or kitchen object and I was spoiled for choice. Other students in my class were opting for electric whisks, fancy looking scales or weird looking potatoe mashers. I decided that simplicity was key and chose a fork. I wanted to be different and not focus on the prongs as this was too obvious, therefore I chose a more delicate looking area and believe I have created a more bold image in doing so.
