Glasgow from the River Clyde

By brianquinn
I was lucky enough to get a trip up the Clyde on my friends boat recently, getting a very different perspective on a river I've known all my life.
With nearly all the shipyards long gone, the riverside was a derelict wasteland for decades, but it is regenerating wonderfully now.
The peaked roof building to the left is the new Transport Museum with The Glenlee tall ship permanently moored outside.
Taken with the camera inches off the water, I'm sure there's not many shots of the city centre from here.
