Fascinating interplay of Nature's straight lines.Slow shutter speed, assume hand-held (bravo!) and textures mingling in the breeze. There's a nice wedge shape or two in the composition while the bright right is balanced by the darker left. Now I only have to work out the abbreviation in your tags Smile

Since going digital, from medium-format film, higher shutter speeds and image-stabilized lenses mean I never use a tripod, although I still own two.

ICM... "Intentional Camera Movement." Has become the accepted acronym for that technique.

Thanks, Bill.

I keep meaning to have a go at this. As opposed to *UCM which I can manage very easily...
It fascinates me how movement can create very precise, clean lines. What is unusual here is that you have those lines running at very different angles. I'm still trying to work that one out. Very well done. I'm seeing fire, not grass by the way.

A nice bit of ICM. The marmite of photography! I happen to be in the 'like it' camp Wink. A very eye catching image Alan.

This has definitely become fire rather than grass. Reminds me of a wild bush fire - lots of movement and unpredictability.

Thanks, Erica. That was the plan Smile
