Perfection in small doses

Surface tension is surface tension but sometimes it can be quite astounding.

I'd accidentally spilled some water onto a table cloth - just a few drops. I looked at them and they just didn't soak in. The smaller one really fascinated me as it looked like a perfect sphere!

I quickly grabbed my camera, flipped it to Super Macro and carefully rested the camera on the tablecloth.

Tilting it slightly to frame the shot, I depressed the shutter button and the camera shake warning came on. I didn't want to switch to ISO 400 as it would have turned out grainy. And I knew flash would ruin this.

So I just held my breath and squeezed the shutter carefully all the way.
