Study in Oil

I spotted this mixture of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar left on a plate and interupted my meal to grab my camera and capture the image. This was one of 4 handheld shots and the only one that was really sharp.(1/10th @ f3.4)

It could be a piece of gold embroidery with pearls:looks scrunchily solid rather than liquid dressing. Great I must look at my plate more often!

Beatifully lit; picks out the depth perfectly. Just goes to show that good photography is about being able to spot a photograph in any situation as much as it is about technique. Well done (you git!).
