Vicars' Close

By Hoverflylover
This is a view of Vicars' Close at Wells in Somerset. Completed by 1363 and built to house the men of the choir (the Cathedral is virtually opposite the close) it is the oldest continuously inhabited street in Europe. the cobbled street and stone buildings with their wonderful chimneys really makes a breathtaking site.
