After driving 14 hours from Cape Town we arrived in the stunning Namib Desert. It was a journey of 1500km, shredded car tires and camping under the silent stunning star filled sky of the Southern hemisphere. We awoke among the dunes and headed up the biggest we could find to admire the vast desert from above. My girlfriend went ahead, stepping on the virgin sands that may never have seen a human before. Special!
